Shopping

Short post today. First thing, many thanks to Spankboss at www.spankingblog.com. He quoted me.....Matisse and spanking blog both have recently. Y'all really like me . I'm moved. :)

After lazing around the house most of the day, the Poet and I decided to go shopping. Now, I'll be honest. I really like shopping. Even if its just window shopping, I just love looking through stores fun of fun and pretty things and then selecting something just for me. The Poet has a way of making it even better. On the trip we just wandered around poking in and out of various stores lingering at some more than other.

One of her greatest talents is finding very cute bargains. I mean, she is the ultimate "Hey lets take a few hours wander around and find cute things" partner for shopping. And today was no exceptions. She found me these wonderful almost knee high big black leather boots that were very, very much on sale. Only problem is the on sale ones were cut for someone with a smaller calf than me. Sad, but it just means that one day the Poet and I will take some time and do some serious boot shopping. See, I want to get a black kilt, big ole black boots and a hot T-Shirt and walk around my conservative home town....or a play party, either one would be cool. She did find me some pretty black Converse shoes. Then we stopped at Spencers and I picked up a cheap little red rubber flogger. Its delightfully stingy and I think the 15 year olds, who were obviously trying to subtle look at Spencer's more adult novelties, were a bit surprised when I tested it out on my arm. I like the new flogger and I have evil ideas for it. Lastly was a stop at Barnes and Noble where I found a wonderful leather bound, gilded gold version of the complete works of Shakespeare (yes, I love the Bard, sue me). How much for this little treasure? 20 bucks. Sold.

Yeah, it was a good trip. Cute shoes, a rubber flogger and the complete works of Shakespeare all at the same mall. Plus the Poet and I came up with several fun new ideas for various things for me to get and different crazy things to try. Next on the list of wonderful treats to get: a Utilikilt and big black combat boots.

Random thought. I want to get some leather pants and I found the site www.leatherup.com. The problem is, the deals seem too good to be true and while I love a deal....when its too good to be true, usually you either get crap or take it in the shorts some other way. If anyone knows anything about this place or knows how they can sell $230 leather pants for $75, please comment or shoot me an e-mail.

But thats for later. Now is time to take care of random household tasks so that Andrew and I can grab dinner and hit the munch tomorrow.

Sorry for the delay

Well, Its officially been slightly more than a week of no smoking. And I really want a ciggerette. Andrew was nice enough to take a cigg from me when my old smoking partner offered me one. We haven't seen each other in week and she didn't know I quit and so she just handed me one as she lit up. See we used to smoke together so often, since we were the only smokers in the office, that we even had hand signals to pull one another out of meetings to have a "stress break". Andrew is such a sweetie, too bad he and I have agreed that it would be weird to have sex. He really is a cutie.

I've confirmed my interest in being a target for an area flogging demo later this month. The demonstrator is what some people would call a heavy player. Or more accurately, he hits really hard and really fast and likes it when you squeal in pain. Well, he's reassured me that its an intro level demo and that he won't be throwing the flogger at me like he throws it at his wife. But still, I'd be safe-wording out in about a minute if he started really throwing it at me. Well, its should be fun and mayhaps I'll learn something too. :)

Okay, tomorrow, more postings. Today....well, today will involve drinking.

See you tomorrow (maybe if someone asks nicely I'll describe what its like to have your nipple peirced)

Nicotine Withdrawl

At 6pm on Wednesday, June 18th I stopped smoking. I stopped for good this time. I have grit and good motivation behind me. I have patches and a plan. I have many many things going for me, helping me, assisting my goal of not smoking.

And it completely and totally sucks. I cannot describe how much not smoking sucks. Most especially right now, since I am currently 5.5 hours into a 12 hour shift. And I can't go outside to smoke. And there is no diet coca cola.

My plan, is to save the money I normally would have used to buy cigarettes and instead use that money to purchase sex toys. Lots of sex toys. Violet wands, leather pants, floggers, paddles, rope (LOTS of rope), a suspension frame (even though I need many more lessons before I'll be ready for that) and maybe even some other fun toys. Oh yes, I have a long list of things I will be buying with my money saved from not purchasing cigarettes.

And tomorrow I will include a list of things I plan to get with cigarette money. But I'll tell you the first thing I plan to get. Curry. I plan to go to my favorite Indian restaurant and order some Nan, some popadomes, a large order of goat curry, some tandoori chicken, some rice, and some mango ice cream. And I will eat it all. And it will taste delicious because my taste buds will have returned since I am no longer searing them off and killing them with regular doses of nicotine.

Oh, and as a side benefit to this not smoking gig, my clothes will no longer smell of smoke, I will no longer be a social pariah standing in the rain to get a little bit of nicotine, I will be rid of my smokers cough, I will be healthier, food will taste better, I'll live longer and my mom will no longer show me pictures of the lungs of dead smokers. Plus I get curry and sex toys. Its a good trade. And writing this actually made a craving go away because I remembered why I quit.

In the coming days, I'll post about the best friend, the list of sex toys I want to purchase in the coming times, Big Head Studios (Scott and his Niece), tying up girls, my dilemma with being a general nice guy yet getting hard when I (consensually) hurt people, and having my nipple pierced. If you have any topic you would like to see more than another, or have other ideas, feel free to comment and I'll do my best to oblige.

Oh, thanks to the Poet for nagging me for weeks until I agreed to stop smoking. I'll have to do something very nice for her. Oh and for the record, the Poet's breasts are the perfect size and I enjoy them a great deal. They are not too small.

Alright, time to start pretending to work again.

How cool

How cool do I feel right now? I got mentioned in Mistress Matisse's blog. I've found so many great stories, interesting people and unique ideas by reading her blog.....now for me to be mentioned there, well, I'm just tickled pink. Which reminds me that I have a few e-mails to send to people from Shibaricon. Now, since I may have picked up a reader or two from people who followed Matisse over, I should make a much better effort to post daily. Here's today's post, about the delightful Twisted Monk.

I had the opportunity to meet Monk while at Shibaricon and buy some of his fabulous rope. All I can say is I am never using anything but hemp ever. Its beautifully made, smells so wonderful (anyone know how to make that "new rope" smell last???), and feels great across the skin or running through my hands. I also had several opportunities to talk to Monk and he really is just such a great guy. He has this nature about him, this unique energy and enthusiasm for life, kink and rope. You can tell just from watching him holding his own rope how much he loves what he does and how much he loves sharing his rope and his kink with the world. Plus, he's just funny as hell and looks as hot as can be in a kilt. I'd love to have the opportunity to sit down with him over a beer one day and just 'chew the fat', as it were Hopefully later this year I'll be able to make it to Portland to see Dawson and then up to Seattle for a day or two to take one of Max's classes and get some more rope. A plan is in the works.

In other news, the Poet and I took the opportunity earlier to learn about floggers. Or rather I learned about them. Since I am house sitting my parents home and we have it to ourselves, she pulled out her floggers and taught me the basics of swinging one. After working a pillow over for about 45+ minutes with her offering some very constructive critiques and pointers (like how to avoid wrapping), she let me take a few swings at her with her lightest warmup flogger. The more and more I do 'topish' things, the more I can see what Doms and Tops get out of BDSM. It was really nice just giving her a few well placed whacks and watching her wiggle invitingly. Too bad she's just a friend and not a potential partner. All of this should come in handy since a local Top asked me to be his target when he offers a flogging demo. Fortunately, he promised it was an intro level workshop and he wouldn't hit me like he does his partner.

Well, I really should be asleep right now, as I have to be up in about 5 hours, but I just couldn't sleep and writing seemed like a good plan. Well, I'm off to try to sleep. Tomorrow look for more Shibaricon stories and possibly a list of BDSM toys I plan to get this year to fill out my new toy bag.

Getting tied up

Well, here's my first real post about Shibaricon. Getting tied up by Max.

Max, is THE rockin rope top of Seattle and so of course he had to make an appearance at Shibaricon. Now, I gather that he hadn't been planning on going to Shibaricon for very long and so consequently, his dance card might not be full. So, I had an opportunity to meet with him and talk with him whilst the Poet was delivering delicious treats to various vendors at Shibaricon. Now, I am not really the shy type normally and I had decided "go big or go home" would be my motto for the weekend so I struck up a conversation with him, and then asked in a shy voice "So, I was wondering, do you ever tie up people of the male persuasion?" To which he replied, "oh yes, I like tying up boys". This is was not expecting, I was expecting to politely be told no or that he had dates all weekend long.

And so I was floored when he said yes. Later that day (the first full day of the con) we had an opportunity to talk more and he asked what I was looking for and that's when I had to admit it. I am a complete rope novice. Never been tied up (for bondage) ever before. And I said something along the lines of "Well, I feel like I'm in a middle eastern restaurant and I've never eaten the cuisine and I only have a vague idea what some of the words on the menu mean, and I'm really hoping for someone to point to something good to try on the menu". He seemed to like the analogy and I said was up for anything except a full suspension. Then, we again parted ways and I found the Twisted Monk as quickly as I could because Max and Monk both date Matisse (poly is so cool) and so they know each other and Monk could give me some pointes. And I asked him to tell me everything I needed to know about a scene with Max and to reassure me that Max really was the rockin rope top I knew he was and that it would be cool. Monk offered several small choice pieces of advice and give me the reassurance I needed (the Poet also offered much reassurance).

So before the play party began Max needed to run upstairs to grab his bag of rope, which I offered to help with. It was fun doing a little service for him, even though all I did was carry his bag and walk with him. But then we went to the party where we both mingled with me keeping a hyper-alert watch on his bag and the time and at around 10 he came over and we started looking for a suspension frame. And the whole time I got to call him Sir and he called me boy (swoon) which just gave me this wonderful little feeling inside. Well, we were waiting for a frame for awhile and he had me kneel in front of him and he was just stroking and rubbing my hair in this way that just said "you're mine right now". And I loved that because I loved having the back of my hair rubbed because it just feels wonderful and because it was just very different to be kneeling in front of someone who was about to tie me up. Well, no frames opened up so he decided to skip the suspension and just tie me up on the floor. So he spread out this huge piece of leather and and I got undressed and out came oodles and oodles of rope. And he started putting me in a chest harness and tied my hands behind me and laid me down on the floor and before I knew it, I was pretty well hog tied and I just loved it. I mean, the feel of the ropes all over me just felt right and I could tug and pull against it without feeling like I was going to slip loose. And then Max used me as a foot rest and I was just in heaven. The rope felt great, the view from the floor was weird (never seen a room of people wandering by when my face is pressed against the floor), and just being in that mindset as he slowly untied me and slowly brought me back to the real world while I kneeled infront of him. And Max is just so hot. Why can't the hot ones be gay?

I could go on and on about the scene but I won't bore all of you. It was so many many new experiences for me, the ropes, the knots, the D/s play, the whole thing. And I should be getting some photos of it. Let me get those and talk to Max and see if he's cool with them up. If no faces are shown, maybe y'all can see them. Till another night.

Shibaricon- the aftermath

Well, I'm back from Shibaricon and all I can say is "Wow". I mean, the event was absolutely amazing for me and I had the opportunity to meet so many cool people and get tied up and get some awesome rope. Right now, I am still in the midst of real life for atleast the next week, but I can assure you that many stories will be shared. Some things you can look forward too:

A scene with Max
Meeting Monk and his rope
Scott and his niece and the liquid latex
General event stuff.

I cannot recommend Shibaricon enough, really it was just too cool for words.

Well, I'll share stories tomorrow, but now, I'm off to go pretend that I'm working.
